The colossal debut from New Orleans 'Thou'. This band approaches the genre with their own dark touch, to bring forth a unique mix of doom, sludge & drone. Still overlooked by many, their latest effort from 2010 entitled 'Summit' left quite a mark in the current sludge/ doom scene. From the early works to the new ones, adding this beast on the blog. 'Tyrant' originally released on LP through One Eye records. Released in 2008 on CD by Gilead Media & again re-released & remastered on LP through Southern Lord (1500 copies).
