'No Anchor' from Brisbane, Australia. A band with a unique destructive sound. A hybrid monster of stoner/ fuzz rock, sludge, doom & drone. Their energetic & distorted sound could be compared to some of the early rocking Boris tunes (Pink, Akuma No Uta), but played really angry & exhausted (Eyehategod comes to mind). This album is the perfect excuse to blow up your speakers (and get bigger ones). Huge! 'Real Pain Supernova' definitely comes recommended..

'The album will be available in 2 x LP from the band's website www.noanchorband.com (and their bandcamp). Almost all of the album packaging is hand made by us and our screenprinting friend Matt Deasy. A free/donation digital version of the album will be available online on the 9th of May 2011.
