'On November 2, 2007, Thorr-Axe was formed in Bloomfield, Indiana by Tucker Thomasson (Guitar and Vocals) and Travis Roach (Bass and Vocals) for the purpose of creating genuinely heavy music. When I first heard this band I was instantly amazed by their huge sound. Highly influenced by Sleep/ High On Fire with a heavy focus on epic riffs & aggressive punk vocals. But the thing that amazed me the most are the teenagers behind the instruments. Like Elder & Cosmic Vishnu, this is another young band with the right amount of balls that cannot be missed. Thorr-Axe is going back in the studio beginning next year, so be warned!

'Roots Of The Mountain' is their first self-released demo from January 2010. Recorded by Bob Fouts at Basement Rage Studios in Beech Grove, Indiana.
