Amy Winehouse dress auctioned, Sold for USD 67000 in London
A dress of Amy Winehouse has been sold for over $ 60 000 in an auction.
A dress worn by the late singer of 27 years Amy Winehouse , for the cover of her album Back to Black , was sold at auction in London for $ 67,000 U.S. dollars, reportsCBS News .
This white dress and red, which was created by Thai designer Disaya, was acquired by the Museo de la Moda Foundation in Chile.
The designer of the dress would have paid the proceeds from the sale to the Foundation Amy Winehouse , which was established by the family of the singer, in order to help youth in need.
Winehouse's father Mitch, who was present at the auction yesterday (November 29), said he was "more than happy, and it's a wonderful start for the foundation."
