Hollow mirrors is a fresh band from San Francisco, CA. Their s/t debut is a mix of warm psychedelic, kraut & prog rock. With this album, these guys created one of the most enjoyable, laid-back psychedelic experiences I heard in a long time. "Hollow Mirrors" is somewhat split in 2 coherent parts. The first three tracks are a spaced out 70's prog rock machine. The last 2 will take you on a trippy psyched-out desert trip. Think Farflung, White Hills, Wooden Shjips, Sula Bassana,... Another shiny hidden gem in the world of modern psychedelica. Give these guys a listen & get this album!
