'Hydromedusa' from Adelaide, Australia. Huge, aggressive stoner/ doom (or anything close to that). This album starts with a quick groove followed by 'Pemulwuy', a sexy 24 minute stoner/ doom epic (check out the vid below). I hear some colossal Sleep, Southern Eyehategod filth, crushing Solace grooves & even some angry Clutch funkyness on here. Hydromedusa uses their influences to craft something dynamic & distinct. This beast is huge, dirty & energetic.



To the point: this album destroys & Hydromedusa is another rare band that needs to be heard. One of the better & recommended band requests (also featuring a member of the wonderful Space Bong). Check 'em out!
