Richmond's Windhand really impressed me back in 2010 with their Practice Space Demo. It had that doomy, fuzzed out vintage sound with hints of psychedelica & spot on female vocals. Their s/t full-length continues this lovely style with 5 killer tracks. I see this band as the missing link between Acid King & Electric Wizard. From the sound to the atmosphere & production; everything just fits. This underground slab of wonderfully crushing, ghostly doom is just waiting to be discovered. Don't let it pass...
