Dead Existence - Born Into The Planet's Scars (2011)

Hailing from London, England. Dead Existence brings a mix of hardcore, stoner rock, doom, sludge & more. You might've heard these guys before on their split with Dopefight.

There's alot of influence & variation in Dead Existence's sound, and especially on their second offering; 'Born Into The Planet's Scars'. I think this band could easily put out an album with 10-15 tracks on it, but they choose to compile their unholy, misathropic energy in 3 colossal tracks. The result is a tasty mixture of up-tempo, grooved out sludge/ hardcore combined with massive, pounding doom and somewhat atmospheric interludes to stitch the sonic violence together. This works well, and in a way it forces the band to be more creative with their songwriting to keep the tracks interesting. Born Into The Planet's Scars should please every fan of evil, stoned hardcorish sludge/ doom. Check it out asap!
