Five piece from Liverpool, UK. These guys sound like the lost tapes of Eyehategod, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Happens all the time in these genres, if something is really fucking good you just make it again from another perspective. In this case, I'm speaking about the nasty Southern sludge that melts our speakers. If you love bands like Eyehategod, Sourvein, Iron Monkey, Buzzov•en, Grief,.. you should add 'Single Malt' to your collection.



"The foundation of this rotten sludge, is the riff worship of bands like Black Sabbath, Sleep and St Vitus, with the influence of Black Flag sitting underneath, to give that nihilistic air, and fog of feedback, that permeates most of Eyehategod’s output. This is the soundtrack to alligator wrestling in a Louisiana swamp, cheered on by a mob of whisky-fuelled reprobates."
