Don't you just love it when a band completely surprises you with the tunes you crave for? Canada's Dead Branches is a perfect example. Looking at the front cover, one could expect some generic post-rock, but no. Behind that gloomy forest lies an assault of heavy riffage, masterful songwriting & kick ass grooves.



Imagine Baroness's first EP, add some Karma To Burn & Pelican, and there you have it. Dead Branches is a 2-man instrumental project by members of Sorceress. This is a compilation of their 3 tracks found through Bandcamp. Highly recommended!
