'Aver' from Sydney, Australia. This band plays a rather distinctive style of anything space/ grunge/ stoner rock. And it's great to see a band that doesn't stick to one particular style or genre. These guys take different influences & craft them into one colourful sonic trip. I think this a rather non-consistent album with ups & downs, but a really enjoyable one. From the laid-back 'didgeridoo psychedelica' to the groovy stoner/ grunge rock riffs & lung-exploding screams. In the end Aver's debut album is a good, dynamic offering with some truly great tracks inside. So get to it and check out what these crazy Aussies have to offer!
